The mark of a masterpiece in Fear! Not every haunt makes the cut. Only the "Top" haunts become part of "America's Most Elite Haunts".

What does it mean to be a "Rotten Pumpkins Certified Elite Haunt"?

A Rotten Pumpkins "Certified Elite Haunt" represents an exceptional haunted attraction that goes above and beyond the ordinary to deliver a memorable, immersive, and genuinely frightening experience. From pulse-pounding scares and phenomenal scare actors to incredible set designs, cutting-edge special effects, and unforgettable atmospheres, Elite Haunts in America demonstrate a commitment to the art of fear.

This distinction recognizes attractions that stand out through creativity, execution, entertainment, and overall guest experience. It is a mark of distinction for haunts that push boundaries, raise the bar, and leave guests talking long after they escape.

Earning the "Elite Haunt in America" designation is the highest achievement a haunt can receive from Rotten Pumpkins Critics. It is not guaranteed, and not every attraction will qualify.
